Things To Note Before Signing That Quote!

“The bitterness of poor quality remains long after the sweetness of low price is forgotten.”

The number one thing you should be asking the next company you are going to be paying potentially thousands of dollars is: How many years have you been doing this?

Depending on who you’re talking to, the responses will range from down right to the day to “I’m not sure”.

The very same hands that paved our roads back in the 80’s still have their hands in paving our roads to this day in one way or another.

We’re speaking from experience too!

Some of the people on our team have decades of hands on experience and knowledge in the asphalt and concrete industry!

Even though some say you can’t judge a book by it’s cover, sometimes that doing that very same thing my save you hundreds or thousands of dollars.

This is why you should ALWAYS ask for references. Doesn’t matter if they say they invented the product they’re selling you or they once met the dog of the of the owner of a well known company.

What about additional costs/services?

We all dislike having to cough up more money than we originally signed for and approved. Fortunately for our customers, we strive to make sure the numbers you signed your name next to are as close to or exactly what the end product costs.

There are a few things that we can’t accurately predict/foresee, one of those being the amount of stone we will be needing depending on how bad the underlying sub-grade is.

For example, an average 1000 Square Foot driveway needs about 40 Tons of stone for the sub-grade, if it is 6 inches deep.

Each ton of stone comes with a price tag of about $40-$50 depending on demand at the time of project.

So if we tear into a driveway and we see that the sub-grade underneath is unstable or all clay, we’re going to have to excavate that all out and fill it with proper sub-grade.

We serve all of Southeast Michigan, if its asphalt or concrete, you need us to take a look at your pavement to give you the best assessment and options for your next potential large investment.

We strive to sell you a service that not only meets, but exceeds your expectations.

Even if at the end of the day you don’t choose us to do your project.
